The City of Hospitality and The City of Warriors of Yore – combining these two to create a proud feeling among the citizens might work out as a great initiative for empowering society against all inhuman activities and atrocities against women and children. The name ‘Kozhikode’ became more interesting when I tweaked it into ‘KO-zhikode,’ with ‘KO’ being a famous term used as ‘knock out’ in the boxing ring. So, I titled the event ‘KO-zhikode’ and created a brochure with a detailed description of how this event would be the first of its kind in India, especially if we announce that the organizers will create a coaching module through schools and colleges, and for women, with the help of authorities.

It was presented to the District Collector, Police Commissioner, and other officers, MP, MLA, Mayor, etc., and all received positive results and support. The event was a success with excellent media coverage.
